Sertoma Star Services is a 501(c)3, not-for-profit community organization dedicated to challenging the limits and changing the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and those living with mental illness. We serve more than 1,500 children and adults each year throughout the Chicagoland area and Northwest Indiana. The organization has provided critical vocational, educational, therapeutic, and residential programs and services to individuals in and around the Chicagoland area and northwest Indiana for a collective 125-plus years.
Don Moss & Associates has a long and successful history of providing advocacy, information and referral services, and consulting to nonprofit agencies serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the State of Illinois
We are working to make homelessness rare, brief and nonrecurring. We provide emergency shelter, affordable homes and supportive services that enable people to overcome homelessness and find pathways home. Our work helps people escape homelessness, improve their health and achieve greater economic security.
Anew: Building Beyond Violence and Abuse is a safe place to get help.
Anew provides caring and confidential help to victims of domestic violence. Our professional counselors and advocates understand the dynamics of domestic violence and help clients identify and choose options in their life situations.
All services are free of charge for victims and are available in English and Spanish.
Food Pantry, serving those living in Flossmoor, Homewood, Chicago Heights, Hazel Crest, Homeless and those living in temporary housing. You may shop once a calendar month.
